1
Before you choose a method, you should know the process of freezing strawberries. Whichever method you choose, note that freezing does not sterilize the strawberries; it preserves it. Therefore, you should only use the best strawberries and ensure that they have been well washed and dried before. Do not expect any wonders from frozen strawberries. After thawing, they are softer, sometimes quite mushy, and darker in color. They also taste different and have a different structure than fresh strawberries. You should just know this and use it as it is after thawing.
2
Make sure that the strawberries are dry before freezing, otherwise the water freezes on them, making them hard and unpleasant to eat.
3
If you keep the frozen berries longer, remove as much air as possible from the plastic bags and seal thoroughly. This helps prevent freezer burn and keeps the berries fresh.
You can also cut the strawberries into smaller, bite-sized pieces. This can be done before freezing to lower the required freezing time or when they come out of the freezer.

Freeze whole strawberries

Wash the strawberries and cut the leaves, leaving them intact. You can cut off so much of the top with the leaves that they can stand on it.

There are two ways to freeze whole strawberries:
Put them in plastic containers or plastic bags. However, they may stick together.

Put a strawberry in each compartment of an ice cube maker and fill with water.
An alternative for the ice cubes is to use lemonade from retail instead of water, and to give kids at birthday parties as a sweet treat. However, do not use this method as a regular treat because the lemonade is not healthy for growing teeth. If you want a healthier ice cream version, use pureed strawberries and bananas and freeze them in an ice-cream style.

Dry ice method
1
Wash and brush the strawberries.
2
Crush one block of dry ice
3
Mix the berries in a bowl with the dry ice.
4
Put it in the cooling container, with a little opened lid, so that the pressure can escape. Leave it there for 20 minutes. You should place a folded cloth under the bowl to protect the cooling container. Dry ice can make the plastic break extremely easily, ruining the cooling tank.
5
Place the frozen strawberries in a dated freezer bag and store them in the freezer compartment.
6
With this method, strawberries can be frozen for up to 6 months, and do not disintegrate into slush when they thaw (commercially referred to as quick-frozen).
